At BabyBox.com, we use the information we collect about you to process
orders and to provide a more personalized shopping experience. All information
provided to BabyBox.com remains private and will not be distributed
to anyone outside our company.

do you use customer information gathered?
Any information gathered will be used in a confidential fashion. When
you place an order, we need to know your name, e-mail address, mailing
address and credit card number and expiration date. This allows us to
process and fulfill your order and to notify you of your order status.
All personal information you share with us is used only for purposes
of improving our store and to enhance your overall shopping experience.
We also monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage to help us
develop the design and layout of the store. On occasion we may use customer
information for marketing and promotional purposes; however we do not
sell online customer information to any outside company or third party.

your site use "cookies"?
"Cookies" are small bits of information that are stored by your web
browser on your computer's hard drive. If you choose to register your
name at our site, a cookie is created to remember your information each
time you visit. While you can choose to shop anonymously, we encourage
you to become a registered member. By registering, we can help make

out process. BabyBox also uses cookies to keep track of items you out
in your shopping cart, to tell us whether you have visited our site

Yes, it is extremely safe to use your credit card online! At BabyBox.com
we are committed to doing everything possible to make you feel safe
and secure while shopping at our web site. BabyBox understands your
concerns over Internet security. Because we share your concerns, we
have taken extensive measures to ensure your complete privacy and security.
Our site is equipped with SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology, a highly
secure on-line ordering process. This means that when you access the
BabyBox site using a secure browser, the personal data you send us (name,
address, phone number, credit card information, etc.) is encrypted for
your protection during the transmission process and can only be decoded
by BabyBox.com. This ensures that absolutely no unauthorized person
can view the personal information you provide when placing an order
through our site. Statistics have confirmed that it is much safer to
use your credit card online than it is to use it in a restaurant, bricks-and-mortar
retail store or over the phone. To check the security of your connection,
look at the lower left-hand corner of your browser window after accessing
the server. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending upon
your browser), then SSL is active. You can also double-check by looking
at the URL line of your browser. When accessing a secure server, the
first characters of the site address will change from "http" to "https."
Some versions of browsers and some firewalls don't permit communication
through secure servers. If you can't access the secure server for whatever
reason, please place your order by phone or by fax.
STORE POLICIES AND ORDERING

are my payment options?
We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Paypal as payment for
orders.
- When
is my credit card charged?
With the exception of personalized items, all credit cards are billed
at the time of shipment. For items made to order, your credit card will
be charged at the time that you place your order.
- How
do I know my order has been placed?
We will process your order immediately upon request. You will receive
an e-mail notification once the order has been successfully placed with
the details of your order. If you have any questions about your order,

- What
is your return policy?
We offer one of the greatest and most buyer friendly return policies in the industry. We offer a 30 day return policy on all stock item(s). Special/Custom orders cannot be returned. Shipping and handling fees are not refundable. (**Please note that ANY custom special orders are not returnable. This includes custom made bedding, furniture, custom room design, artwork, custom lighting, christening wear, custom ordered items, mattresses, changing pads, personalized items, and monogrammed items are not returnable.) If there is a problem with any of the above non-returnable items, please contact us within 7 business days.
If you are not fully satisfied with an item and wish to return or exchange
it, just replace the gift in its original packaging and follow these
simple steps: Contact our customer service department at 203-655-0185,
Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time)
or e-mail us at customerservice@babybox.com with the following information:

- Reason for
return
- Order number
- Request for
refund or exchange.
Once we receive your
information, we will assign you a Return Authorization Number (RA#).
This RA# will ensure prompt and proper handling of your refund or exchange.
We are unable to accept returns of merchandise that has been used, soiled
or damaged. Merchandise must be returned with original packaging and/or
tags intact to ensure complete credit. We regret that made to order items or custom ordered items (all bedding, linens, furniture, artwork), personalized items, and monogrammed items are not returnable.
We will issue a full refund for the price of any product you return
if it meets the above conditions. Write your RA# on the packing slip
and return to:

Please return your items via UPS, FEDEX or Insured Parcel Post. This protects
you in case the gift is damaged or gets lost in transit. If you are
returning a gift because it arrived to you damaged, we will refund your
shipping costs.
All sales become final after 30 days.

Our store offers only the finest products available and we make every
effort to meet your high standards for quality products, accurate descriptions,
reliable shipping and exceptional customer service. If you should have

- How do I place
and order offline?
We encourage you to place orders via our secure server online, however,
we would be happy to take your order over the phone if you are having

We encourage you to place orders via our secure server online, however,
we would be happy to take your order over the phone if you are having

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
- What
is your product availability?
We make every effort to keep products in stock or ensure a reliable
supply from the manufacturers. The availability of each is noted within
the product description. Occasionally, however, we may take your order
and then discover that the product is not available for shipping, in
which case, we will notify you via e-mail that it is on back order.
If your order will be delayed by more than five days, we will contact
you to confirm that you would still like to receive the shipment. Some
of our items are shipped from the manufacturers directly instead of
from our distribution center and therefore require additional time for
arrival.
- What
are your shipping methods and costs?
We offer three shipping options for delivery within the USA, Ground (5-7 business days),
Express (1-2 Business Days), and Express Overnight (1 Business Day). We ship all packages
via United Parcel Service, RPS (Fed Ex Ground) or USPS. Most purchases are shipped from our
distribution center within two business days. Orders placed over the
weekend ship on Monday. Any orders shipped on Fridays (using expedited shipping methods) will arrive the next business day, the following Monday. If you need Saturday or weekend delivery please call to discuss your options.
Note: Items ordered together may not be shipped together. We will notify
you if any item cannot be shipped within 30 days, and you will be given
an option to cancel your order. Shipping costs are calculated according
to total price of item. (see chart below)
Standard Delivery: Orders should arrive at their destination
5 to 7 business days from the order date.
Express Shipping: To meet those special deadlines, Express 2-day
and Overnight delivery are available for most in stock, non-personalized
items. Express 2-Day is an additional $8.00 and Express Overnight is
an additional $15.00. Rush delivery is not available on some of our
oversized items and purchases shipped directly from our manufacturers.

I send gifts to multiple "ship to" addresses?
Yes, we can ship to multiple addresses. Please follow the directions at check out.
- What
kind of gift services does BabyBox.com offer?
Special attention has been given to our gift packaging. Beautiful presentation
is one of the most important aspects when giving a gift. For a single gift box charge of $5.00, you can take advantage of our tissue-lined premium gift box.
(Unless noted within product description, most items can be gift boxed).
We include the box, tissue, ribbon,
diaper pin and gift card. Boxes are available in assorted sizes matched
according to size requirements. Gift items being sent to a single address
will be packaged together in one box, unless requested otherwise. If
your order is a gift, please complete the special packaging request
form during the check out process. Sorry, some items cannot be gift
wrapped, such as oversized items or items that are shipped in their
original boxes.
- Does
BabyBox charge sales tax?
BabyBox.com has offices in Connecticut and is therefore required by state law to collect sales tax on orders shipped to residents
of that state.
- How
can I check the delivery status of my order?
At the time we ship your order, we will notify you via e-mail of your
tracking number for each package. With this UPS/USPS tracking code, you can
instantly track your package anytime, anywhere. You can access UPS's
home page at www.ups.com or USPS at www.USPS.com.

do I register as a member on the BabyBox.com site?
Registration is fast and easy, and it's a great way to simplify your
on-line shopping. While you can choose to shop anonymously on our site,
we encourage you to become a registered member so we can make your visit
as convenient as possible and provide you with a faster check out process.

you have a baby shower gift registry?
We have a unique all-occasion gift registry. Now you can make it convenient for your friends to get you the perfect gift. Just use the " Add To Registry" button located next to the "Add to Cart" button to add a gift to your registry. Then you can use the E-Notification system to let your friends know where you are registered. Or for a more subtle approach, use the photo album or RSVP service, and when your friends log on to view your pictures or RSVP, they will already be on your registry.
